EURO COOP seminar "The future of cooperative governance" Brussels on 2nd June 2006
Governance is the exercise of political authority and the use of resources to manage problems and affairs of an organization or a society. It includes therefore a wide series of processes, systems and control measures and embraces action by executive bodies, assemblies and judicial bodies.
Like any other private or public body, cooperatives are called to face governance issues and are constantly concerned with problems arising from them. It is then for this reason that EURO COOP decided to organise a seminar intended to directly address this subject with a view to better identifying concerns and possible solutions linked to it.
